Are Mormons Christians?

We talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins. (2Nephi25:26)

SALT LAKE CITY — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced that Elder Gary E. Stevenson, of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and his wife, Lesa Stevenson, will be the featured speakers for the upcoming worldwide devotional for young adults.

The event, centered on the theme of lifelong discipleship, is scheduled to broadcast across the Americas on Sunday, May 3, 2026, with rebroadcasts reaching international audiences the following weekend on May 10.

A Global Call to Gather

Church leadership is inviting all young adults between the ages of 18 and 35—including married couples and high school seniors—to participate. Rather than viewing alone, the Church encourages local congregations to host gathering events to foster community and discussion.

"Young adults are encouraged to look for opportunities to view the broadcasts with friends at a locally scheduled event and later discuss how to live what they learned," the official news release stated.
