Welcome to our "About Us" page! We're glad you're here. We are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and our mission is to share the good news of Jesus Christ and to help people come closer to Him. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior of the world, and that through His Atonement, all mankind may be saved by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.

What We Believe

The core of our beliefs is centered on Jesus Christ. We believe He is the foundation of our faith and the living head of His Church. We believe in God the Eternal Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost. We believe in the Bible, and also in another book of scripture called the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ, which we believe is a companion witness to the Bible.

We believe that God loves all of His children and that He has a plan for our happiness. This plan includes the opportunity to return and live with Him after this life. To do this, we must follow Jesus Christ and His teachings. We believe in the importance of families, and that through the saving ordinances of the Gospel, families can be together forever.

Our Mission

Our mission is to invite all to come unto Christ. We do this by:

 * Sharing the Gospel: We strive to share the message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone, so they can find joy and purpose in their lives.

 * Building Community: We gather together in local congregations, or wards, to support and strengthen one another in our journey of faith. We believe in serving our communities and helping those in need.

 * Living the Gospel: We strive to live as disciples of Jesus Christ, keeping His commandments and striving to become more like Him each day.

Our History

We believe that The Church of Jesus Christ was restored to the earth in 1830 through the Prophet Joseph Smith. The Church has since grown from a handful of members to a worldwide organization with millions of members in countries all over the world. Our history is a testament to the power of God to inspire and guide His people.
