SALT LAKE CITY — January 14, 2026 — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced a worldwide invitation for women to gather this March to commemorate the anniversary of the Relief Society.
The event, which celebrates one of the oldest and largest women’s organizations in the world, will feature a special broadcast message from Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, alongside the Relief Society General Presidency: President Camille N. Johnson, Sister J. Anette Dennis, and Sister Kristin M. Yee.
A Global Gathering of Strength
Relief Society units across the globe are encouraged to meet at the ward, branch, or stake level on or near March 17—the official anniversary of the organization’s founding. These local gatherings are designed to include a 30–40 minute devotional followed by a testimony meeting, allowing women to share their faith and experiences.
“There is healing and strength when sisters gather together,” said President Camille N. Johnson. “In these moments, the Savior allows us to feel His love through one another.”
New Resources for Emotional and Spiritual Relief
In addition to the main broadcast, the Church will release a series of short discussion videos on March 8, 2026. Featuring members of the Relief Society General Advisory Council, these 2–4 minute segments are designed to tackle the modern challenges facing women today, including:
• Finding relief in Jesus Christ while managing competing priorities.
• Building emotional resilience.
• Navigating feelings of offense, hurt, or misfortune.
• Discovering divine design within family structures.
Local presidencies are invited to use these videos throughout the year in Sunday meetings, women’s conferences, or for individual study.
How to Participate
The broadcast and supplemental videos will be available in 41 languages, including ASL, Spanish, French, and Swahili. Members and friends can stream the content starting March 8 via:
• The Church Broadcast Website (broadcasts.churchofjesuschrist.org)
• Gospel Library App

Young women turning 18 in 2026 are specifically invited to attend, marking their transition into this global sisterhood dedicated to "Charity Never Faileth."
