Are Mormons Christians?

We talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins. (2Nephi25:26)

About Temples

Unlike meetinghouses where weekly Sunday services are held, temples are considered sacred spaces dedicated to "eternal" ordinances. These include marriage sealings and baptisms, which the Church teaches unite families forever.

"Jesus Christ is the reason we build temples," President Nelson stated regarding the North Carolina project. "Each is His holy house."
